Harry Porter and the Goblet of the Fire

In “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” the fourth book in J.K. Rowling’s beloved series, Harry returns to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for his fourth year. The story kicks off with the exciting Quidditch World Cup, but the celebration is marred by the appearance of Death Eaters, followers of the dark wizard Voldemort.

Harry is unexpectedly chosen by the Goblet of Fire as a fourth contestant, despite being underage. He faces a series of dangerous tasks, including retrieving a golden egg from a dragon, rescuing friends from merpeople, and navigating a perilous maze.

Throughout the tournament, Harry faces numerous challenges and uncovers dark plots. The climax occurs when the trophy, enchanted as a Portkey, transports Harry and Cedric Diggory to a graveyard where Voldemort is resurrected. Cedric is killed, and Harry narrowly escapes with the help of his parents’ spirits and the Portkey.

The book ends with the wizarding world in shock over Voldemort’s return, and Harry and his friends brace for the impending battle against the forces of darkness.
